A pencil and watercolour sketch of a warm cavern gym, with black and red strength machines, clearly visible weight-loading horns and weight plates, rough stone and amber lamps.

The Gym

Feel the movement.

Movement / Curiosity / Control

My approach to training.

Training is part of my everyday life. I enjoy exploring different exercises and developing control over each movement.

For me, training starts with feeling the movement. I prefer guiding the weight with control, staying connected to the muscle and finding a rhythm that feels right. The number on the stack comes second.

A few personal favourites

Panatta

Panatta machines are a personal favourite. What I enjoy most is the smooth, consistent feeling of many of their movements: guiding the weight rather than rushing the repetition.

Etenon

Etenon interests me for its range of machines and movement ideas. I am especially curious about pulling and pressing movements that remind me of the Nautilus approach.

Also on my list: Max Pump, Mega Mass, Newtech, Rogers and Flex. Different approaches, with plenty of movements to explore.
